In Pavlograd, a dispute between brothers ended in murder.

In Pavlograd, police apprehended a man suspected of murdering his brother. This was reported by "Vідомо" citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The incident occurred on November 24 in an apartment of a high-rise building on Zakhidnodonbas'ka Street. As established by the police, the men lived together. That day, a quarrel broke out between them, during which the assailant struck the victim in the head with his fist. The victim fell to the floor from the blow, while the attacker went to sleep in another room and left the crime scene upon waking up. The 61-year-old man died on the spot from his injuries.

Criminal police operatives tracked down the assailant and arrested him.

Investigators informed the suspect of his charges under part 1 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty prescribed by the article's sanctions is up to 15 years of imprisonment.

In court, the offender was ordered to be held in custody as a preventive measure.
