In Pavlograd, a man couldn't find common ground with his neighbor and ended up attacking him with a hammer.

In Pavlohrad, police apprehended a local resident who severely injured his neighbor with a hammer. This information was reported by "Vydomo," referencing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

The police received a report of the crime on September 30 at around 5:30 PM. Investigators determined that during a joint gathering in the yard of a private house, a verbal conflict arose between the host and his guest. After a disagreement with the neighbor, the guest went home and returned with a hammer. After striking the man’s head three times, the suspect left the property.

The 44-year-old victim has been hospitalized.

Law enforcement officials arrested the 40-year-old assailant and seized the weapon used in the crime – the hammer.

On October 28, investigators informed the detainee of the suspicion under part 1 of Article 121 (intentional severe bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to eight years of imprisonment.
