In Nikopol, an unknown individual shot four bullets at a dog nicknamed "Chechen." This was reported by the Telegram channel "Dnipro Now", as conveyed by "Vydomo."

The dog had lived for at least 8 years in a modular settlement on Knyazheskaya Street and was a local favorite.

"He was loved and cared for here, but some monster shot him. This happened recently, around 5 PM, near a bus stop where many people pass by,” the message states.

A local animal volunteer took the dog's body and had it X-rayed. Four bullets were found in the dog's body.

"For two consecutive days, the woman has been going to the police to at least find out who has been assigned as the investigator in the animal cruelty case," the message continues.

However, no investigator has been appointed yet.
