The court proceedings in Kryvyi Rih concerning a case of assault have concluded. A conflict occurred between two men in one of the city's cafes. A verbal altercation escalated into a physical confrontation, resulting in an unfortunate incident for one of the participants - during the quarrel, a man slapped his opponent three times. This was reported by "Vidomo".
This incident, seemingly a typical example of a street fight, caught the attention of law enforcement and subsequently progressed to the judicial level.
The actions of the accused were classified under Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which prescribes punishment for intentional infliction of blows that cause physical pain but do not result in bodily injuries.
It is important to note that the classification of the accused's actions was made specifically under this article, rather than under more severe charges. Essentially, the court regarded the incident as a minor fight that resulted in light injuries.
The case was heard in the Saksagansky District Court of Kryvyi Rih. The court delivered its verdict, finding the man guilty of the charges brought against him. The punishment was relatively lenient — the offender was sentenced to a fine of 850 hryvnias.
Previously, we reported: attempted to independently find the perpetrator - an entrepreneur from Pavlohrad ended up in the hospital with a concussion.
