In Kryvyi Rih, a man stabbed his partner in the abdomen multiple times with a knife.

Kryvyi Rih police have apprehended a local resident on suspicion of inflicting serious bodily harm to a woman. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the National Police of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The crime occurred on the night of November 2 in an apartment in the Metallurgical district of Kryvyi Rih. During an argument, the assailant stabbed his partner multiple times in the abdomen. The victim was hospitalized with severe injuries.

Law enforcement officers detained the perpetrator on one of the city streets.

The police seized the weapon used in the crime – a folding knife.

Based on the collected evidence, the attacker was arrested in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

In coordination with the Kryvyi Rih Southern District Prosecutor's Office, the police informed the man of his suspicion under Part 1 of Article 121 (intentional serious bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
