In Dnipropetrovsk region, a 19-year-old young man was stabbed in the abdomen while defending his sister.

In Pokrovsk, Sinelnykove district, on November 27 at approximately 00:30, a dispute erupted between a man and a woman. The woman fled to her brother's house, who lived nearby, seeking protection, as reported by "Vydamo" citing The Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

The 37-year-old attacker did not stop and followed the woman. At the relative's home, he continued the conflict, during which he stabbed a 19-year-old man in the abdomen. The victim was taken to the intensive care unit of the city hospital with severe injuries.

Law enforcement apprehended the assailant, announced suspicion under part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional grievous bodily harm, and chose a preventive measure in the form of detention. The aggressor faces up to 10 years in prison.
