In Dnipro, authorities apprehended a street robber known for fleeing the scene.

Employees of the criminal police in Dnipro have located and apprehended a 19-year-old suspect in the robbery of a woman. This was reported by "Vідомо" referring to the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

On November 13, around 6:00 PM, a woman contacted the police and reported that while returning from work, she was robbed near one of the houses in the Topol residential area in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The attacker ran up to her, snatched her bag containing money, a phone, and bank cards, and then fled the scene.

After canvassing the area, police officers began searching for the assailant. As a result of their efforts, they located and detained a 19-year-old young man from the Solonyansky district. The stolen mobile phone belonging to the victim was recovered from the suspect.

On November 14, investigators informed the detained individual of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under part 4 of article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The young man faces a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison for the crime. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
