In Dnipro, in the Chechelovsky district, a woman suspected of drug trafficking has been arrested. Law enforcement officials confiscated a significant quantity of methadone, packaged into 200 individual doses, known as "slip packets." This is a large batch of drugs that, according to experts, could have generated around 100,000 hryvnias on the black market. This was reported by "Vidomo" citing the police of Dnipropetrovsk region.

The arrest occurred immediately after the suspect received a package at one of the postal terminals. Following the arrest, the package was inspected, during which the prohibited substance was discovered.

The detained suspect will be questioned by investigators. She will face charges, and depending on the investigation's results, she may receive a significant prison sentence. The case will then be forwarded to court, where the final verdict will be issued.
