In Dnipro, police apprehended a man who threatened officers with explosives.

During the negotiations, the police were able to persuade the man to surrender the ammunition.

In Dnipro, during a police special operation, a 38-year-old man was apprehended for threatening law enforcement officers with a grenade. This information was reported by "Vydomo," referencing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On November 22, around 16:50, patrol police stopped the driver of a "VAZ" vehicle for violating traffic regulations. During the conversation with the officers, the 38-year-old man behaved provocatively and aggressively, then obtained a grenade and began to threaten to detonate it.

A investigative-operational group, special forces, and an explosive ordnance disposal team from the Main Directorate of the National Police arrived at the scene.

After negotiations with the officers, the man surrendered two grenades and was subsequently detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Fortunately, no one was harmed.

On November 23, investigators informed the man of his suspicion under Part 1 of Article 345 (threat or violence against a law enforcement officer) and Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, military supplies, or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
