In Dnipro, a man stabbed a woman in the neck with a knife.

Police in Dnipro apprehended a 51-year-old local man who stabbed his partner in the neck during a conflict. This was reported by "Vідомо," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

On November 7, around 10:00 AM, the police received a report of injuries to a woman at a residence in the Novokodak district of the city.

Officers discovered that a quarrel had erupted between the partners, during which the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife and inflicted serious injuries on the 35-year-old woman. She was hospitalized. Law enforcement seized the knife from the crime scene.

Investigators informed the detained man of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 121 (intentional serious bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 8 years in prison for the crime committed.

The investigation is ongoing.
