In Dnipro, a shocking story is unfolding regarding the theft of flowers from the graves of fallen soldiers. Residents of the city, particularly those close to the deceased defenders of Ukraine, express their outrage over the systematic looting at the Lomov Cemetery. These are not isolated incidents, but rather a series of thefts that, according to local residents, have taken on the scale of an organized business. The graves of military personnel are primarily suffering from this looting. This information comes from "Vydomo," referencing the Facebook community "Lomovka".

Women who have lost their husbands and sons in the war endure a double pain: grief for the fallen and the cynical desecration of their resting places.

Irina, a local resident, was one of the first to raise this issue, publishing a message about what is happening.

"Frunzensky!! I’m writing this post at the request of the wives of our fallen soldiers... Fresh flowers are regularly stolen from the graves of fallen soldiers at Lomov Cemetery (in the woods) (((And the most disgusting part is that these flowers are sold in the evenings near ATB in our area (((I saw them at the cemetery, and then I saw the man and woman selling them)," she wrote.

Chrysanthemums, roses, carnations – everything is taken, and nothing is spared. A sense of helplessness and despair in the face of such inhumanity overwhelms many. Some try to defend themselves against the looters by breaking the stems of the flowers, rendering them unsuitable for sale. While such actions are not without logic, they unfortunately do not address the root of the problem.

It is clear that this issue requires immediate resolution and holding those responsible accountable.

Previously, we reported that in Kryvyi Rih, unknown individuals shot a monument to a fallen soldier at a cemetery.
