A resident of Pavlograd is suspected of killing his wife out of jealousy.

A resident of Pavlograd, whose wife died in their apartment, has been charged with murder. Currently, he is under house arrest as a precautionary measure. This information was reported by "Vідомо," referencing materials from the Pavlograd court.

Since 2004, the suspect had been married to the victim. They have two children together. The family lived in the apartment. Between 2023 and 2024, their relationship significantly deteriorated due to jealousy. The wife typically raised complaints against her husband.

The murder occurred in the apartment when the woman once again accused her husband of infidelity. The conflict erupted early in the morning in the living room. The argument, which had become a routine for the family, escalated into a scandal— the woman began to scream. The man couldn't take it anymore and delivered a series of powerful punches to her. These strikes hit her body and head. As a result, the woman lost consciousness and died from traumatic shock.

Upon seeing that his wife showed no signs of life, the accused tried to deflect suspicion from himself by placing her body on the couch and then went to the neighbors, claiming that she had committed suicide.

The man was informed of the suspicion regarding the crime outlined in part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The actions of the suspect are classified as a criminal offense under part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional unlawful causing of death to another person).
