В Никопольском районе у наркоторговца нашли свыше 10 килограммов каннабиса.

In the Tomakivka community of the Nikopol region, law enforcement agencies have disrupted a large-scale operation involving the cultivation and distribution of drugs. A 50-year-old local resident was arrested on charges of illegal cannabis cultivation and trafficking. This information was reported by "Vidomo," citing the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The quantity of the narcotic substance discovered was substantial—law enforcement seized over 10 kilograms of high-quality cannabis ready for sale.

The search, conducted as part of the investigative actions, yielded impressive results—in a specially equipped greenhouse, hidden from public view and cleverly disguised as a regular utility building, police uncovered a vast number of narcotic plants. More than 100 cannabis bushes of varying degrees of maturity were found in optimal conditions for growth and development. The greenhouse was outfitted with a modern lighting, ventilation, and humidification system, ensuring maximum "yield."

In addition to the live plants, significant stocks of cannabis ready for sale were also discovered in the greenhouse.

The suspect's arrest occurred without incident. The 50-year-old man is currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing.

Previously, we reported that in Dnipro, a 16-year-old drug dealer was apprehended.
