A thief withdrew 20,000 UAH from a military card and vanished. Dnipro police have apprehended the suspect.

In Dnipro, a 36-year-old local man offered assistance to a soldier who was receiving treatment at a medical facility, but instead, he robbed him, as reported by "Vydomo," referencing the Police of Dnipropetrovsk region.

The victim reported to the police that the perpetrator offered to help the soldier with grocery shopping, and when he obtained the soldier's bank card, he withdrew 20,000 hryvnias and fled.

Law enforcement officials apprehended the suspect and on October 30, informed him of the charges under part 4 of article 185 and part 1 of article 357 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Previously, we reported that in Verkhndniprovsk, a young man stole nearly 30,000 hryvnias from a friend's card.
