According to Havryliuk, the remaining two and a half months until the end of the year do not allow for expectations of rapid results.
“Seizing the strategic initiative requires substantial resources, both human and material-technical,” he noted.
In his view, without gaining at least partial air superiority, achieving this will be very challenging.
Discussing Russia's objectives, Havryliuk pointed out that the Russian side initially set ambitious plans, such as quickly capturing Kyiv.
“Now they have failed to do so, and their further success will depend on our actions,” he remarked.
Havryliuk also expressed the opinion that Russia has not achieved significant successes this year.
“The offensive actions of the Russian Federation, considering the losses, cannot be regarded as successful. This is an unsuccessful offensive operation,” he stated.
