A family dispute escalated into a stabbing incident in Pershotravensk, leading to the arrest of a local woman by the police (PHOTO).

In Pershotravensk, police have detained a woman suspected of inflicting serious bodily harm on her husband. The crime took place in the village of Dmitrovka. This information was reported by "Vydomo" citing the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to information provided by the police department No. 3 of the Synelnykove district police, the incident occurred during a domestic dispute between the spouses. During a heated argument, the woman grabbed a kitchen knife and inflicted several blows on her husband.

The victim sustained severe injuries. He was urgently hospitalized at the nearest hospital from the scene, where he received the necessary medical assistance. The exact nature and number of injuries have not yet been disclosed.

Police quickly arrived at the crime scene after receiving a report about the incident. A thorough examination of the scene was conducted, during which material evidence was found and seized. The main piece of evidence was the knife, which has been sent for examination.

Thanks to the prompt actions of law enforcement, the suspect was quickly apprehended. She is currently in custody awaiting further court decisions. She has been charged under part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — intentional serious bodily harm.
