In Dnipro, patrol police apprehended two drivers who were under the influence—one due to alcohol and the other due to drugs. This was reported by "Vідомо," citing the Patrol Police of Dnipropetrovsk Region.
Recently, the patrol stopped a Mercedes-Benz driver at a road checkpoint for an inspection. The driver exhibited signs of alcohol intoxication. He underwent a breathalyzer test using a Drager, which confirmed his impaired state, showing a blood alcohol content of 2.77 promille.
It was also revealed that this driver had been previously charged and had his driving privileges revoked. The patrol issued a report under part 3 of article 130 (Driving under the influence) and part 5 of article 126 (Driving a vehicle by a person deprived of the right to drive again) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (КУоАП).
Another driver, also deprived of the right to drive, was found by the patrol in the Novokodak district. This man showed signs of drug intoxication and refused to undergo a medical examination.
The patrol drew up a report against him under part 3 of article 130 and part 5 of article 126 of the КУоАП.
In both instances, the drivers were prohibited from driving.
