Customers who pay their bills on time are eligible for a 1% discount, which reduces the effective rate to 7.88 UAH. For instance, if your gas bill amounts to 1000 UAH, by utilizing the discount, you can lower your payment to 990 UAH.
“Naftogaz” emphasizes that every customer can receive this 1% discount by completing two simple steps:
Ensure complete payment of the bill by the 15th of the current month.
Make the payment through the personal account on my.gas.ua or via the GASUA chat.
It is important to note that the discount cannot be accumulated and is only applicable if there is no outstanding debt, meaning you must pay the entire amount, including the cents.
Looking ahead, starting from 2025, the gas supply rate will be applied to all consumers. Although the supply rate itself remains unchanged, it will also take into account the volume of gas consumed during the gas year, which ends in September 2024.
While the supply rates will not change during the war, they will vary depending on the gas distribution network operator. These rates can be found on the website of the respective company. However, the stability of the rate does not imply that individual expenses will not fluctuate.
In addition to the rate, the total bill is influenced by the volume of gas consumed. Consumption from the previous year is averaged over 12 months and multiplied by the rate. If consumption increases, the cost of supply will also rise.
In Ukraine, the cost of gas transportation ranges from 0.38 to 2.39 UAH per cubic meter depending on the region.
