Yuri Lehkodukh, head of the healthcare department of the Volyn Regional State Administration, emphasized this in a recent interview on the program “Herbs about Lutsk” aired on the channel “Konkurent.” He pointed out that the presence of lawyers during the commission process significantly reduces the likelihood of manipulation or biased assessments by doctors, thereby ensuring the integrity of the examination.
This approach is aimed at preventing conflicts and protecting the rights of individuals undergoing the examination.
Lehkodukh explained that nearly every conscript arrives with a legal representative, believing that they need support throughout the entire examination process.
He emphasized that doctors are unlikely to risk their reputations by making questionable statements, as all examinations are documented and recorded.
Additionally, Lehkodukh noted that delays in conducting assessments are noticeable, stating that it is impractical to falsify diagnoses for healthy individuals who have no health issues.
