Ukraine's mobilization resource consists of approximately 3-5 million men aged 25 to 60. This information was shared by Lidia Tkachenko, a senior researcher at the Institute of Demography and Social Studies, during a broadcast on "Kyiv 24".
According to her, the estimated population of Ukraine in the territories under its control is just over 31 million people. As for the mobilization resource, only rough estimates are provided.
"Different estimates are mentioned in various sources. There have been several attempts (at counting – ed.). Non-governmental analytical centers have conducted such calculations. The figures range from 2-3 to 5 million people. This count specifically concerns men aged 25 to 60 years,” the demographer explained.
