In Synelnykove, a woman stabbed her own brother with a knife.

The police of Synelnykove have announced charges against a local resident for inflicting serious bodily harm on her brother. This was reported by "Vідомо," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

A report about the crime in a house in the village of Tykhe in the Synelnykove district was received by the police on November 7 at approximately 14:55.

Law enforcement officials established that during another conflict, a 39-year-old woman, angered by insults, stabbed a 42-year-old man. The victim has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit for urgent medical assistance.

The weapon used in the crime—a knife—was seized by the police and sent for examination.

In coordination with the Synelnykove District Prosecutor's Office, investigators informed the woman of the charges under Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code. For the committed crime, she faces up to 8 years in prison. The investigation is ongoing.
