In Kryvyi Rih, a court penalized an official for overlooking several flaws in a newly constructed restroom.

The court has punished the head of the landscaping department of the Ternivka district, Vladimir Moiseev, for accepting the commissioning of a public restroom that was constructed with numerous violations. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing "Svoi".

It is noted that in December 2023, the official commissioned the public toilet. According to the court documents, instead of laminated five-chamber windows, white single-chamber windows of a smaller size were installed. Instead of four separate grilles on the windows, one solid grille was used. The interior door was of a smaller size (600 x 1770 mm instead of 800 x 2000 mm). The double door lacks handles and built-in locks. The mirror is not made of plastic. The air conditioner was installed without an outdoor unit and anti-vandal grille. The exhaust fan has a lower power rating.

Ignoring these issues, Moiseev provided false information in the documentation.

According to the tender on "Prozorro," the purchase and installation of the toilet cost the budget 598 thousand UAH. The work was carried out by 37-year-old entrepreneur Konstantin Turkin.

On October 29, the Ternivka District Court issued a verdict against the head of the landscaping department of the Ternivka District Executive Committee under Article 366 of the Criminal Code (official forgery).

During the pre-trial investigation, the official admitted his guilt and entered into an agreement. As a result, he is required to pay a fine of 34,000 UAH and 9,000 UAH for the examination. The court also prohibited him from holding managerial positions for one year.
