All consumers, including those with boilers or those who do not use centralized hot water supply for other reasons, must submit their hot water meter readings monthly. The deadline for providing consumption data is determined by the service provider, and timely submission is crucial for accurate billing.

Failure to provide readings, even if consumption is zero or the meter reading has not changed, will result in the provider automatically calculating consumption volumes based on previous periods. This means that households may be charged for hot water they did not use, leading to unnecessary overpayments.
The obligation of this procedure applies equally to boiler owners and other subscribers who have opted out of using hot water. Regular submission of meter readings ensures accurate billing and prevents unforeseen expenses.
