Ingredients:

  • Potatoes — 1 kg;
  • Minced meat — 350 g;
  • Onion — 150 g;
  • Garlic — 10 g;
  • Vegetable oil — 30 g;
  • Sweet pepper — 100 g;
  • Cheese — 100 g;
  • Salt — 15 g;
  • Ground black pepper — 3 g;
  • Sweet paprika — 10 g;
  • Garlic powder — 3 g;
  • Coriander — 1 g;
  • Egg — 1 pcs;
  • Starch — 20 g.

Preparation of stuffed zrazy:

1. Peel and chop the potatoes into small cubes, then boil for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion, clean the pepper, and chop it finely as well. Grate the garlic cloves on a fine grater.

2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet, first sauté the onion, then add the pepper.

3. After sautéing the onion and pepper, add the garlic and then the minced meat. Once the minced meat is browned, add salt and pepper to the filling and cook for another 5 minutes.

4. Grate the cheese and add it to the cooled filling. Drain the water from the potatoes and mix in black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and coriander with starch, then mash it into a puree.

5. Add the egg to the cooled potato puree and mix well. Form small balls weighing about 100 g from the potato puree. Flatten the balls into thick patties, placing 45 grams of filling inside each. Seal the filling within the zrazy to form pies.

6. Crack a couple of eggs into a separate bowl and whisk them. Also, place the breadcrumbs in another bowl. Dip the zrazy first into the egg mixture, then into the breadcrumbs.

7. Fry the zrazy for 3-4 minutes on each side in a mixture of butter and vegetable oil.
