A former MP from Dnipropetrovsk has been placed on the wanted list.

SAP representative Olga Postolyuk reported that former people's deputy Vadim Nesterенко has been declared wanted, as reported by "Vydomo" citing "Slovo i Delo".

The former MP from the "Petro Poroshenko Bloc" faction is suspected of illegally receiving UAH 760,000 in compensation for housing rent in Kyiv.

"On October 17, 2024, the former member of the Verkhovna Rada (8th convocation) was notified of suspicion under part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation determined that between 2014 and 2018, the MP, despite having housing, received compensation for staying in a hotel and renting accommodation amounting to UAH 760,000. After the pre-trial investigation began, the individual fully compensated for the damages. It is worth noting that since the individual's whereabouts are unknown, the notification of suspicion was made in accordance with Article 135 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. He was declared wanted on October 28," Postolyuk stated.

On the "Persons hiding from authorities" page on the Ministry of Internal Affairs website, it is noted that Nesterenko is wanted by NABU.
